We’re looking for someone who’s deeply plugged into platform culture, knows how algorithms behave, and has the creative range to produce content that earns attention — not just impressions.
What You’ll Do
Strategy & Content
- Develop creative, audience-first social media strategies tailored to each brand and platform
- Manage day-to-day operations across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, and YouTube
- Create engaging multimedia content — adapting format, tone, and style for each platform’s unique algorithm and audience
- Conceptualise, launch, and manage campaigns and contests that grow reach and deepen engagement
Community & Influencer Management
- Build and manage social communities — respond to comments, DMs, and posts promptly and in brand voice
- Identify and cultivate relationships with relevant influencers and creators across platforms
- Conduct regular audience research to stay in sync with what your community cares about
Analytics & Optimisation
- Monitor, track, and report on social performance using Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and platform-native tools
- Analyse competitor activity and identify opportunities to differentiate brand positioning
- Research and evaluate the latest social media trends to continuously improve content strategy
- Set KPIs for brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth — then hit them
Client & Budget Management
- Manage social media budgets for paid amplification, influencer collaborations, and tools
- Maintain regular client communication via calls, email, and meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong understanding of all major social platforms, their audiences, and their algorithmic behaviours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social)
- Creative thinker who can generate original content angles, not just execute a template
- Data-literate — you analyse what worked, understand why, and build on it
